Tip 2: Eat more alkaline foods

A diet that has too many carbohydrates and sugars tends to cause our bodies to become acidic and this can cause you to gain weight faster. Alkaline foods are usually green in color and will help to neutralize the acidic environment and make losing weight easier. You may even consider getting some type of green food supplement since eating enough vegetables and such can be tough for most people. These kinds of supplements can be found in most major supermarkets and also in most health food stores.

The amount of water you drink is also important however it should be dictated by thirst and not based on some preset routine or quantity. Also try to eat as much water rich foods as you can like more fruits and vegetables, you will find that you will not be as thirsty and it is also a great way to add more important nutrients into your diet.
