Aerobic or cardiovascular exercise is very important if you want to attain a better level of health and if you want to lose the most weight possible. There are many ways to get an effective aerobic exercise workout. The obvious initial option is to join a nearby gym and use the equipment there. The advantage to joining a gym is that you have access to a wide variety of exercise equipments so your workouts will not seem as repetitive or boring. Tip 1: Workout with the right intensity
Most people that workout either exercise too little or too much and end up wearing themselves out. The ideal routine may be to exercise for 30 - 45 minutes while maintaining a heart rate in the 120 - 140 beats per minute range. This can be accomplished in a number of ways including a fast paced walk or a steady jog or biking or using a stationary bike at a medium to high level pace. A good sign that you got a decent workout is if you are sweating by the end of it.
Tip 2: Workout the right number of times per week
The ideal number of times to exercise each week is between 3 to 5 times. Exercising every day can be too stressful on your system and can weaken your immune system causing you to get sick more easily. Also if you are feeling sick or have the flu then you may want to take a week or two off from working out until you fully recover.
Tip 3: Workout on an empty stomach
The best time to do an aerobic exercise workout is usually first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. This will help to burn the most fat possible from your body. If for whatever reason you cannot exercise on an empty stomach first thing in the morning then do it later in the day but try to as close to an empty stomach as possible, have a small snack if you are hungry.
